Welcome Back!
Welcome back! Hope everyone had a restful break :)
We ended last semester talking about cells and are going to focus on Genetics this semester. As we talk about genetics and health, bioethical discussions are going to occur.
Some things to think about
We will stop throughout the movie and discuss what is happening and why we should care about this disease.
Also, you need a new composition notebook for the new semester by Thursday Jan 9, 2014 :)

Some things to think about
- If you could design your own baby (eye color, hair color, height, intelligence, lack of diseases, etc) would you? Where do you draw the line?
- As we look at diseases, if we could eradicate certain diseases, should we?
- Is it better to treat the symptoms or try to find a cure?
We will stop throughout the movie and discuss what is happening and why we should care about this disease.
Also, you need a new composition notebook for the new semester by Thursday Jan 9, 2014 :)
