Put the video sheet on page 31 & fill out as we are watching the movie

Today we went thru the "hawk, rabbit, grass" simulation.  You should have 5 generations of data, and a graph for tomorrow (Friday).  The following pictures are what you should have on each pages 28-29.

Board Meeting presentations

Presented today in round table discussion. 

Each group then had time to discuss and pick the one variable that they are actually going to test.

We also germinated our seeds for Monday :)

20-21 Tiger & Characteristics of Life continued

P.20 = The TIGER of life, fill out the table with what you remember from yesterday, we will discuss and then complete the TIGER as a class once we come to a consensus.

P.21 = answer the two tiger questions using at least one paragraph (6 sentences) for each)

18-19 Characteristics of Life

On page 18,
Write at least five things (characteristics) that something must have to be alive


Divide P.19 into 8 sections

 In each section

1. Draw/Describe the “thing”
2. Make a claim: -- it is living or it is non-living.
3. Give your reasons for your claim

Today you went around to different stations and determined what was happening in terms of Energy
Each station should be 1/2 of a page
Tomorrow we will discuss what the energy diagrams should look like
